Al Kamil Power Company SAOG (under liquidation) is offering for sale all the Plant equipment as part of winding down its business operations in the Sultanate of Oman. If a buyer for the entire plant cannot be found, the equipment will be sold at the best price offered.

285 MW PLANT FOR SALE, DETAILS
The Plant is comprised of three (3) General Electric Frame 9171E heavy duty gas turbines, rated at 95MW each, designed for operation in open cycle configuration, together with related ancillary equipment required for a fully independent operation. Turbines have on average about 80,000 operating hours (total FFH) and have been strictly maintained in accordance with OEM requirements. They are also designed to run on both natural gas and light distillate fuel oil.
The main equipment includes:
- 3 X 95 MW GE Frame 9 Gas Turbines
- 2 X 5,870 mt capacity light distillate fuel oil storage tanks
- Natural gas pressure reducing terminal (“PRT”)
- 3 X 122 MVA 132 kV GSU step-up transformers
- 6 MW black start diesel generator
- Fire water and raw water system
- Compressed Air System
- 3 X Unit Auxiliary Step-Down Transformer
- 6 X Service Step Down Transformers
- 1 X 11 kV Auxiliary Supply Step Down Transformer
